Kindergarten News: October 24th- October 28th

What we’re
Workin’ on this week..
Language Arts / Social Studies
This week we will be reading books about Fall and Halloween (nothing scary, just fun!) :)  We will continue practicing writing two sentences on a single topic!  We are really focusing on starting with a capital letter, using a finger space between words, and ending with a period!  We will also learn two new words in our word folders "the" and "little."

Math

This week we will start working on comparing numbers! We have been discussing the vocabulary greater than, less than and equal to. Try pulling two different amounts and having your child compare the two amounts using the correct vocabulary greater than, less than or equal to. Have them show you how we can show that we know they are different ( matching 1to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 and so on! )

On Friday we will have a fun day of math and science rotations! We would love for as much help as possible! Please click on the link below to sign up to come in!
