4 more school days until we are 1st graders!!
As the year comes to an end, we would like to say thank you to everyone who has made this year what it is! We have loved getting the opportunity to teach your sweet kiddos and although we are so excited to see them grow and move on to first grade, we are sad to see them leave our rooms! Thankfully they will all be in "A Hall" next year so this isn't a goodbye, but a see you next year! We hope that you have a wonderful summer!

May 30th- No school! Memorial day
May 31st- Autograph Day
June 1st- Kinder"GARDEN" day
June 2nd- Last day of school
Autograph Day
Tuesday we will be having an "autograph" day! Please be sure to send your child's yearbook to school with them that day so that they can have it signed by their friends and kindergarten teachers! If you did not order a yearbook, please do not worry! We will be providing your child with an "autograph book" for the day!
Kinder- "GARDEN" Celebration
(June 1st @ 8:30- around 9:45)
Kindergarten is taking a final “field trip” on Wednesday, June 1st! We will just be going over to the community
garden that shares a parking lot with TCE! We are going to celebrate “Kinder-GARDEN” day!! We will walk to the
community garden (it is right next to TCE, we don’t even have to go to the main
street!) We are going to learn about the garden and do some fun rotations
in the garden and then we are going to get a mini tour of the TCE garden behind
the cafeteria.
After that we will be eating a picnic lunch outside if the weather allows! Your child may either bring their lunch or buy their lunch on that day. ( The cafeteria will be serving pizza if you wish to buy that day!) This is just supposed to be a fun last day of learning in kindergarten! We will head over to the community garden about 8:30 a.m. and we should be done by 9:30 / 10:00. If you have time that morning and would be willing to come and help us would you please let us know! You can e.mail your homeroom teacher and she will write your name down to come out that morning!

Library News:
All library books should have been turned in by now. If you still have a library book, please return it as soon as possible.
Friday, May 20th- all library books are due!

Trail Pass for the 2016-2017 School Year
The end of the year is fast approaching! If you would like to get a jump start on next year, we have some great news for you! Trail Passes for next year are on sale now at the PTO web store. The Trail-Pass includes school supplies, grade level t-shirt, classroom donation, field day, write-a -check, PTO membership, directory and a $2 donation to the scholarship fund.
