Math

Our Kindergarten learners have done SO well understanding, reading, writing, and representing their teen numbers. So this week in Math, we will learn about comparing teen numbers. We will compare with pictures, objects, numbers, and sentences. We will also use our number lines as a tool to help us compare numbers.

We are getting very close to the 100th Day of School!! We will celebrating 100 Days of Kindergarten on Monday, February 1st. To help us with visualizing 100, please have your child put together a collection of 100 objects. This could be something as simple as 100 pieces of cereal, 100 marshmallows, 100 pennies, 100 legos, etc!
Virtual learners, please have your bag of objects ready for our Math Zoom on February 2nd.
Face to Face learners, please bring your collection to school any day next week.

Science

In Science this week, we are learning about natural resources. We will focus on the natural resource of water and how we use water in our everyday life! We are also beginning to visit our very own TCE Garden!  Our face to face learners went out for a visit on Friday and we would love for our virtual students to come up and take a look at the TCE Garden too!

Valentine's Party Update

Our campus has made the decision to move our second party of the year to May instead of the usual February Valentine's Day Party. While our staff will still do some type of activity for the holiday, we will not have our usual full party or exchange paper valentines. We look forward to planning the end of the year party with our room moms.
