We have reviewed the skills we learned first semester and we are ready to take off on our
reading and writing this semester!
Book Bags are coming home again on Monday 1/13! Yay!
Please read with your child at home and return books to school on Friday!

Social Studies:
We will continue our unit on traditions and customs!
We will talk about traditions and customs we have in our
own homes and families!

Math:
In Math this week we will be learning about reading, writing, and representing our teen numbers (11-20!) We will play games, do stations, and fun activities to become experts on these tricky teen numbers!
We are also getting ready to celebrate the 100th day of school on January 27th - more information to come on that!!

Science:
In Science we will be starting a unit all about Earth science. We will learn about Earth materials like soil, rocks, and water. We will learn how we these natural resources to help us each day. We will focus on SOIL this week. We will discuss it's properties and how to sort and classify about soil!
