End of Year Conferences and Summer Practice

We are happy to meet with you via Zoom, Phone, E-mail, or in person. Before the end of the year, we will send home a list of activities to enhance skills during the summer that will benefit all students! Math
In Math this week, we will be wrapping up our Geometry unit! This week will continue learning all about 3D shapes. We will learn that 3D shapes have faces, edges, and vertices. We will learn the names of different 3D shapes, and we will be able to tell about real world examples of each type of shape we learn about.
We will be creating a 3D shape museum next Friday, April 29th! Please have your child bring in a 3D object representing either a sphere, cone, cylinder, or cube. Please do not send anything valuable, and please label it with your child's name. We will return all objects at the conclusion on our shape museum!
Social Studies
In Social Studies we will be working on our Citizenship Goals. We will focus on bravery, honesty, effort, and kindness. We will become experts about these character qualities and how to demonstrate them.
Science
In Science this week we will be continuing our learning all about Habitats! We will learn about the different types of habitats that each animal lives in. We will learn about how habitats provide what an animal needs.
