Math
In Math this week, we will be practicing our awesome addition skills! We will learn many strategies for how to solve addition problems. These include using counters, drawing pictures, counting our fingers, and using a number line to count and add!
At home, we would love for you to continue practice counting, reading, comparing, and writing your numbers with your children! Thank you for encouraging this!
Science
In Science this week we will be starting a new unit all about force! We will learn about pushes and pulls and how objects move! We are excited about doing some hands-on exploring to see just how force and motion makes things move!!
Library Day - Mondays
Students from all Kindergarten classes will go to library each Monday to return their old books and get new books! Please help them to remember to put the library book in their backpacks on Sunday evenings so they can get a new book on Monday! We have been learning about different types of books in the library, how to treat our books, and how to choose a good book! This Monday we will learn how to use shelf markers to find books in the shelves!
Terrific Tiny Texans
Each week we will be spotlighting a special TCE Tiny Texan from each class. This is someone who we've seen going above and beyond and doing a fabulous job in class! They will get to be our line leader for the week, and they will get to fill out a STAR STUDENT poster to share during family meetings. This weeks texans are:

You should have received a link to sign up for a Fall Conference from your child's homeroom teacher. If not, you can view the links here:
